Open sagebrush and grass ridges give you long sightlines. Pinyon,
juniper, Southport Gulch, and Ben Harrison Gulch give the ground pockets, shade, and
natural travel routes.
You can glass most of this ground from the ridge tops. The deer bed in the juniper through the middle of the day, and the gulches carry movement morning and evening.
Access is by gravel road off State Route 36 at Stockton. Approved routes and
parking are marked on the owner's safety map. The property borders BLM parcels and
Kennecott ground, so stay on the private side of the mapped boundary.

Deer and elk country with over-the-counter buck tags, no draw needed. Bring your own tag and check current Utah DWR regulations before the hunt.
Mule Deer
Field crews have documented mule deer sign on the
property. The open ridges and timbered draws give hunters several ways to glass and
work the ground.
Elk
This country holds elk. Spike permits are over the counter and mature bulls are a limited-entry draw. Our field records have not documented elk on this block, so plan your hunt deer-first.
Mountain Lion
Mountain lion scat has been documented here.
Any pursuit must follow current Utah DWR rules and your tag requirements.
Coyote & Small Game
Coyote sign has been documented on
the ground. Check current regulations and confirm any planned small game hunting with
the owner.
Wildlife is free-ranging,
and no harvest is guaranteed. Great Basin rattlesnakes are present, so watch your footing.
Dogs need prior written approval.

Hunt smart
Hunt Smart Around Old Mine Ground
This is part of the historic Rush Valley Mining District, with about 200
inventoried mine openings and about 50 that are gated or grated. Never enter or
approach any mine feature. The safety map marks known mine features and exclusion zones, but not every historic opening is guaranteed to be mapped, so treat any opening you find as off limits and report it. An animal that goes down inside an exclusion zone may not be recoverable, and retrieval needs the owner's authorization and possibly the mine operator's clearance. A trespasser died in a shaft here in 1996.

The terms
Straight Terms Before You Hunt
The rules protect the ground, the hunters, and everyone working here.
Review them before booking, and ask us for the full lease addendum so you know the access, safety, mining, and damage terms up front.
Party size
Up to 6 named hunters.
Exclusivity
No other paid hunting group will be booked for your species and dates. My family and I keep the right to hunt our own ground, and we will coordinate with you by text on the rare days that happens.
Mining activity
There is no active mining here today, but this is patented mining ground and the mineral side keeps its rights. Crews or inspectors can come through, and if work ever happens, affected areas can close without refund.
Insurance
Carry $2 million in liability insurance naming Tetelestai LLC
as additional insured.
Deposit
The greater of $15,000 or 25% of the lease fee. Returned after the post-hunt inspection, less any damages. It does not cap liability for damage.
Vehicles
Keep ATVs on approved roads. Stands, blinds, and cameras need
prior written approval.
Safety map
Follow all marked routes, parking areas, boundaries, and
exclusion zones. Every hunter signs a mine-safety acknowledgment before first
access.

Before You Ask
Is there lodging or camping on the property?
There is no lodging on the property. Camping and open fires require written approval. Tooele has hotels about 15 minutes away, and Salt Lake City is about 45 minutes away.
Can I scout before the season?
Yes, by arrangement with me. Scouting counts as property access and needs to be scheduled.
Can I bring an ATV or drive anywhere on the property?
Vehicles and ATVs must stay on approved roads. Any ATV use beyond those roads requires prior written approval.
Can I bring a dog?
Dogs require prior written approval. Stands, blinds, and cameras do too.
When will I receive the exact boundaries and maps?
